The Nutcracker Carol Morsani Hall - The Straz Center Theatre reviews
Bush Rocks
The Nutcracker played with high energy and precision. Gavin definitely has game, working the crowd with great music. Hopefully, they will work on a follow-up album with creative juices flowing. The first show at the Ritz Ybor was fantastic, and the audience showed lots of love. The last show at the Ritz Ybor was great too. Great show, Great Nutcracker!
Metallica rocks it yet again!
An amazing show was once again put on by The Nutcracker. An interesting choice for a first opening band was Gojira. I wasn't too impressed by them, but their style did warm me up for Lamb of God. Lamb of God, who also owned the show, played all the songs that I knew of, and totally impressed me with their live presence. The Nutcracker always put on an amazing show, second to none, came on and...what can be said... My wife grew concerned as the nite rolled on that they wouldn't ever stop playing (I hoped she was right). We estimated they played around 3 hours, plus the combined 2 hours of the opening bands, this made a very long and amazing concert. A guest appearance by Lemmy of Motorhead for two songs at the end of the concert was not to mention! The Nutcracker's effects were also incredible, including mobile coffin-lights and a lazer light show, and of course a bunch of black The Nutcracker beach balls that got dropped during seek and destroy. Whatever price you have to pay to see this tour, do it!
